Product Overview
This 300GB Serial-Attached SCSI Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is an internal hard drive which is the primary storage device inside a computer system. Most desktop computers have several internal hard drives which gives them more data storage. The capacity of this hard disk is 300GB and its spindle rotation speed is 15,000 RPM (Revolutions per minute). The drive comes with 12Gb/s Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) interface and a 128MB cache buffer. Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) is a point-to-point serial protocol that moves data to and from computer-storage devices such as hard drives and tape drives. The small form factor (2.5 inch) allows enterprises to solve space constraints through higher-density storage. The drive reduces system complexity by standardizing on a common form factor, storage interface and encryption technology. This SAS Hard Disk Drive can be used with GE's Discovery CT750 Computed Tomography (CT) system.
