Product Overview

The Tandem Pressure Sensitive Device (PSD) Cross Bar Flat Assembly comes as a part of the tandem family system of NM detectors. The detectors face are equipped with a device to protect the patient from injury caused by potential unintended collisions with any body parts. The device will cover the whole detectors surface that might collide with patient body during any system axes motion. It consists of two parts. One part covers the collimator face since the other part covers a cross-bar outer surface. The PSD devices are intended to operate properly under clinical conditions during normal operation without noticeable deterioration of performance characteristics and visible signs of layers unstuck, corrosion, fatigue, wear, aging, influence of liquid spills and pollutions. The PSD undergoes 30,000 activations at the same spot with no damages and failures.
