Product Overview
The Rotor Control Board is used in the AMX4-plus and the AMX 700 systems. It consists of primarily the 60Hz inverter which supplies 60Hz of power to the collimator field lamp, X-ray tube stator, X-ray tube filament and HV inverter module stop capacitor. the sense X-ray tube stator runs and starts winding current. This board can activate and deactivate the safety contactor. The control board consists of a resistor, capacitor, transformer, IC chips, connector slot and cooling unit. A 60Hz 24V square wave’s inverter with a controlled dead band are applied to opto isolators. The opto, in turn drives a push-pull driver stage consisting of Q60/Q73 and Q61/Q74 and then it feeds to the ZMOD1 and/or ZMOD2 which consist of MOSFET transistors that are responsible for energizing the output transformer in push-pull mode. The output transformer feeds back to the rotor band which distributes the output to a specific subsystem and generates diagnostic outputs used by the controller board.
