  • Highly Reliable
  • Good Corrossion Resistance

Product Overview

Compression springs are devices made up of helically formed coils with pitch in-between used to push back on an applied force or load in order to return to its original position when the force or load is released. They are the most commonly used type of spring as well as the most economical. This compression spring is made up of ASTM 5112 music wire of 0.047 inch diameter. The 0.875 inch long spring comes with squared and grounded ends. The cadmium plating over the music wire enhances the exterior finish and also provides good corrossion resistance properties, which in turn leads to increased service life of the product. This Compression Spring provides a spring rate of 28 lb/in and is compatible for use in the assemblies of GE's Precision 500D X-Ray systems.
