Product Overview
The Cuff Interface Exhaust Valve BCG to Ventilator is a valve that uses servo-control technology that allows gas to be released from the exhalation valve during the inspiratory phase, if the patient makes an expiratory effort. A small quantity of gas bleeds through a resistor to help keep the pressure on the exhalation valve constant. This precision valve controls gas flow to the patient, and it is used to connect the Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG) and the ventilator. During inspiration, this gas flow closes the exhalation valve and pushes the bellows down. And during expiration, a small flow pressurizes the exhalation diaphragm to supply PEEP pressure. This valve is made of silicone with high tensile and tear strength. It can withstand high temperatures, up to 134° C. Its compact design makes it suitable for a wide range of applications and it can be easily assembled and disassembled. This valve is used in many anesthesia systems such as ARC Aestiva 7100, ARC Aestiva MRI, Aestiva Compact, Aestiva 7900 and Aestiva MRI.
