Product Overview
An O-ring is the most common type of seal used in a wide range of static or dynamic applications. O-rings are seated in a groove and compressed between two or more parts thereby creating a seal at the interface. They are generally made of rubber due to which it returns to its original shape on compression. This O-ring made of Ethylene-Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) is an excellent seal because of its useful physical, chemical and mechanical properties. These O-rings are suitable for use with hydraulic fluid, as well as steam, water, silicone oils, brake fluids and alcohols. O-rings with 80 durometer offers the best combination of properties for most of the applications. These O-rings are not recommended for oils and solvents.
