Product Overview

The Kit H-I-T Female Vacuum 1/4 Hose with Nut Gland and FER SDP comes as a part of the Diameter Index Safety System (DISS) module of the Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG) in an anesthesia delivery machine. DISS provides gases required for the patient from an external outlet. Hoses are provided at the wall outlet of DISS, specific to each gas and are color coded such that they can be distinguished easily. The assembly consists of a hex nut, a vacuum gland, a hose coupler knob and the hose to provide a vacuum. The ends of the hose are covered by ferrules or caps. They are provided to prevent the ends of the hose from splitting and damage and are made of brass, which is highly wear resistant. They have zinc plating on the surfaces which protects the ferrules from oxidation. It provides an efficient performance in varying medical environments.
